With Australia’s international student population continuing to rise; cultural, language and local network barriers will become issues for more-and-more young people passionate about pursuing a career in Australia.

In learning effective networking and professional presentation skills, international students have much more ground to cover then their domestic peers and a supportive learning environment is essential to ensure students are comfortable to engage with the content and practice their skills.

Hayley offers Networking Confidence, a presentation particularly tailored to the needs of international students that focuses on providing context around the Australian workplace environment and on building confidence in professional situations.

In the somewhat surprisingly wise words of Lion Nathan’s, Hahn Super Dry brand campaign – “Every call you make affects your man brand”. Hayley offers an interactive session on building your professional image and maintaining a strong corporate “brand” in the graduate marketplace.

Hayley looks at how your verbal, written and physical interactions all work together and what employers are really thinking when you scribble your name and Hotmail address on a torn-out piece of lecture pad. While having a good corporate brand is not about adopting a cookie-cut personality, it is about understanding how to communicate your key strengths, skills and career potential to highlight your unique personality.

Delivered as a 30-90min keynote or half day workshop.

Whatever your role and whatever your organisation, presentation skills are a valuable commodity and essential to building your internal and external profile. You will also look at strategies for structuring your content, utilising technology and developing effective PowerPoint and Keynote Presentations.
